Arabic/Muslim Ministry
Approximately 1,4 billion Muslims live in the world. In other words they cover about 21 per cent of the world’s population.
The most prolific Islamic region is between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude where 300 million people live. 80 per cent of them have never heard the Gospel. That’s why our mission is such a challenge.
Islam is spreading quickly in Europe. Currently there are more than 40 million Muslims in Europe and the amount is increasing continuously.
Not all Arabs are Islamic. In Muslim countries and all over the world Arab Christians can be found as well as Arabs who haven’t heard the Gospel yet.
The purpose of IRR/TV is to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus to Arabic and Islamic people. We want to reach as many people as possible and help them to know Jesus Christ as their own Savior.
We reach Arab and Islamic countries very effectively through TV programs and the internet in addition to missions and education. IRR/TV also delivers humanitarian aid as part of mission campaigns.
Although we work mainly through media our goal is to meet people and help them to a close relationship with Jesus Christ. We also guide newborn Christians to grow with other Christians and help train disciples.

TV PROGRAMS
Every year IRR/TV produces over 250 new programs in Arabic, Turkish and Farsi. Our TV broadcasts can be seen in the Middle East, North Africa, Australia and Europe. Six different satellite channels broadcast our programs, some of them daily.
We use a lot of energy producing TV programs because TV plays a significant role in families throughout Arabic and Islamic regions.
In 2009 we have already filmed over 100 new programs. Our goal is to produce 500 new programs during this year.

CITY CAMPAIGNS
A couple of years ago IRR/TV began organizing evangelistic city campaigns for Arabs. The first campaign was targeted at Arabs and Muslims in Europe. It was held in Södertälje, Sweden in 2006.
A year later we held another campaign in Sweden. It was for Arabs living in the capital city of Sweden, Stockholm.
In 2008 we reached Arabs and Muslims in Israel. City campaigns in Gaza and the West Bank were part of a larger campaign in Israel. The campaigns drew great attention in the country. The Arabic part of the campaign lasted for 30 days.
PRACTICAL TRAINING
Before the start of the city campaigns we train workers and church leaders to man the telephone call centers, to evangelize and work with media. They are trained to work with newborn Christians and to make them a disciple of Christ.
For every campaign we produce special evangelistic books and DVD’s directed at the culture where the campaign is held. We also advertise our Arabic concerts where people can hear spiritual songs and preaching from the Bible.
During the city campaigns we deliver special tract and visit homes. We show Christian movies and evangelize through TV and radio programs as well as the internet. Campaign ads on posters, bill boards and buses give the phone number to where people can call, ask for prayer and order spiritual material.
Every campaign is unique. In other words the way it is structured depends on the region, available finances and other opportunities.
Our Arabic city campaigns will continue in the future. We plan to do three campaigns in the Middle East and one in Europe in the next couple of years.
LITERATURE AND MATERIAL
We publish an Arabic magazine with a print run of three thousand, six times a year. The magazine is published every second month and it’s free for Arabic subscribers.
We also print Bibles in the Farsi language. Since the year 2007 we have purchased and delivered Bibles to Iran. The campaign continues.
FEEDBACK
We receive feedback from 52 countries throughout the world. We get about 50 letters, emails or SMS’s daily. Here are some of them. For security reasons names have been removed or changed.
